Welcome to Gentle Bee Co! We are a small family business nestled in the heart of Canterbury, New Zealand. Our passionate team consists of Reagan, Sarah, and our three adorable children - Zoe (5), Charlie (4), and Millie (9 months). With a deep love for nature and a strong commitment to environmental conservation, we embarked on a journey to make a difference in the world of pollinators.
Sarah's family has been actively involved in the breeding of New Zealand's only and largest population of leafcutter bees for nearly a decade. Drawing from her family's wealth of knowledge and experience in breeding these remarkable creatures, together with her husband, Reagan, the Gentle Bee Co was born.

At Gentle Bee Co, our purpose is twofold: to continue an essential legacy of breeding leafcutter bees in New Zealand and to expand the population of these incredible pollinators nationwide.
